Cest génial de prendre un numéro US pendant une ou deux semaines pour les inscriptions à des services comme Lyft qui nécessite une confirmation par SMS.

Requires background app refresh! So, if you ever turn on iPhone low battery mode , the app will not receive calls/texts unless the app is open and the screen is on. Workable if you’re only getting 2FA codes or know when a text /call is coming in. Otherwise, this basically kills much of the functionality of the app. Hopefully devs can find a way to disable the need for background app refresh. At minimum, maybe encrypted storage of messages /voicemails on servers until background app refresh is turned back on?

I got log out of my account today 24 February 2025 and I try logging back in and I keep getting this message “Error Could not Log In with this username and password.” And I contacted the support system and they are now saying they’ll get back to me in 24-48 working days. What’s going on please . I can’t even get them to send me an email

I tried signing up for a trial of the 4.99 Unlimited. It automatically sets to auto renew when you do that. However, in "manage your subscription" there is no pricing information. I have tried to reach out to customer service, via chat, but it doesn't work in the app. It only works in email? And the rep has sent the same auto response to me THREE times, without actually answering my question. It's like he isn't reading my question. Setting a subscription on auto renewal without showing the plan details is not acceptable.

FYI- they censor messages!! Messages containing swears or sensitive words will not be delivered to the recipient. I’ve tried it from multiple angles and messages and it’s true. They absolutely censor your messages. Hard to believe but true. Also , there is no unsend like almost every other messaging app out there. If you send something there is no way to edit it or delete it. Also hard to believe in this day and age. Use with caution!

I was tired of paying Xfinity $20 a month for a landline that’s not even a landline just to hold on to an old phone number I’ve had for 40 years . Hushed is the best way to hang on to an old number. Support has been outstanding through this whole porting process. Very impressed. Thank you.

Trash app. I paid for the subscription and the app still wouldn’t work, basically did not acknowledge that I had paid for it. When I reached out to their support, they reacted very nonchalantly and suggested that I contact Apple. Immediately canceled and requested a refund. No bueno!

It has been about two weeks since my back and forth with customer service about the non functionality of this app on android. Each time they get back to me they propose a dumb solution as if they have no idea why it will not work. In between the waiting for a response is a very frustrating time period of uncertainty which after they have replied is a useless troubleshoot reply. Don’t bother with this app. It’s useless and if there is a problem after a successful installation, you can bet they won’t help you.

I use this app for business. I mistakenly deleted the app from my phone. I reinstalled the app which required logging in. I could not remember my login info and couldn't get a password reset. I reached out to support on a Sunday night at 9pm. I was amazed I received a response email within just a few minutes. They helped me get logged back in immediately and my business phone is back online. Thank you very much! A+

Calls drop. Installed, tested and did not work. Wasted .

My number just expires out of the blue. I go when I buy business cards to use this number to start another or a new business. To find out the number just expires and I waste all the money that I just purchased business cards for with that phone number on

I downloaded and use this phone for two days, only after two days I was not able to send text or make calls. Tech support indicated that I violated the terms which I did not, this is a Mickey Mouse company, I suggest everyone to stay as far away as possible from this scam, I also ask apple to review this application on its marketplace as it is obviously a scam and a trash application

So initially, it said that there was no number. When you try to restore the number, it wouldn’t let you then when you try to reach out to support there was nothing there when you try to show a screenshot it wouldn’t let you. I get rather aggravated if you pay for something and you can’t use it. They need to make a disclosure if they have a problem with a VPN.. that’s all

Hello please am having issues with my messages, few weeks ago I made a yearly subscription and In less than two weeks my account got deleted, so I had to pay for another one year subscription just for my messages not to be going through today because all my recipients said they aren’t getting any messages from me and I haven’t been able to get any of the messages they sent me either

Great service with excellent rates. The app has so far run flawlessly with a few little extras I wasn’t expecting. This app literally works better than the Amazon app in themselves. Let’s just put it at simply reliable. I don’t own it, I’m not selling it, but I do want to say thank you for it.

I got a phone number on this app bc I travel a lot and wanted a number local to one of my frequent locations. So far the phone service has been clear and the texts go through fine. No missed calls or bad connection. Solid deal for the cost and I'm glad I found them.

This morning I got logged out of the app while I was texting someone. The email address I signed up with didn’t work for me to log back in. I contacted support and support replied asking questions like phone number or proof of subscription and receipt of which I have already attached in the initial email for them to look into. I replied AGAIN with the attachments that I had already provided then someone else from support replied asking for the same documents. I don’t understand why each reply is a different person from support. That went ok 3 times back and forth and then they finally said they will escalate the case as I requested them to update to my new email address to the phone number. Now 10 hours later I haven’t heard back and I’ve sent two more follow up emails to support! If this is my primary number do you think anyone can wait this long to get access to their phone number, texts, VMs. Even if they left for the weekend I expect them to at least let me know who took over the case and the estimated timeframe to get back to me instead of leaving me hanging!

I started using this app to speak with friends and family in America while living abroad and it has been an excellent solution for this. Not all of the older people in my family are tech savvy so it has been quite helpful to be able to call and text them directly on their phones. Good stuff!

They charged me right away, but no number, no service and worst of all, NO support access offered anywhere. I got screwed by Hushed

Can I use my hushed phone number to verify WhatsApp

I have a handful of lifetime phone numbers them. All of the call management settings are set to the default settings. Calls don’t even ring and go straight to voicemail. Support messages with the Husbed team give a pop up message that says “failed to load comments.” Horrible app, it’s borked.

Will not receive short codes for third party verification.

I’ve had the app for 3 years. There are 3 issues. First, some texts just do not get received by the recipient. No alert on my end. They just don’t get certain texts which created a rabbit hole of confusion and frustration until I realize they aren’t seeing my texts. This needs to be fixed. It seems to have gotten worse recently. Second, there needs to be a dark mode. The white background is too bright and nauseating. Please please please create a dark mode with a black background. Third, if I’m playing YouTube or music while using hushed, it stops the music or video when exiting the hushed screen. This needs to be corrected, especially because this was never a problem before until a certain update. It’s very very aggravating. Otherwise, I would like to keep the app and my number but these issues are complete failures and the bright white background with pink bubbles is not pleasant to look at. Thank you

It’s glitchy. Some of my texts sent don’t seem to be received. Especially if they contain emojis. It breaks up longer texts into parts. It shows an unread text bc of my own reply sent.

Great app no problems

This app called me. Someone on the other end asked “how could I be helped” when they called me when I told them so they asked me what time it was. I hung up and immediately deleted this app. As they sounded Chinese. BE CAREFUL OF SCAMS.

This was recommended by a cyber security “expert” . Not impressed. Use MySudo instead. Big drawback is if you give the number to friends you can NOT receive group text messages. Data drops and if you do receive the messages you will get it from each group member individually.

New user and very pleased with the app that I use for my business line. There was a glitch on messages, but customer support was very responsive and got it taken care of. I used Godaddy’s SmartLine for several years, but they converted all users to a different app, Conversations, that was terrible, glitchy, lacked feature and expensive. Very glad I switched.

Do not waste your money on this app ! I paid 14.99 to get my account taken from me with no reasoning customer service is literally trash ! I recommend trying another app . You can’t send photos . If you have a business you chat get a lot of messages without getting flagged . Certain messages will come through certain messages won’t . So you might miss important text messages if you depend on this app . Save your money ! Do not use this app it’s literally terrible . Unsatisfied customer .
